Early Times Report
kishtwar, Sept 11: In a major crack down on Hizb terror network in Doda and Kishtwar District, the Kishtwar police probing the role of arrested Hizb militant Aiyaz Ahmed Wani and a local Over Ground Worker has found shocking details with regards to the use of technology in transferring the data and information related to army, police and day to day activities of the politicians, social activist as well as the religious heads to Pakistan from where in a planned manner the data was used to provoke the people through social media including whatsapp groups.
As per the details shared with ET by the police sources, one of the arrested persons used blackberry services to transmit information to two Pakistan based handlers through social networking sites.
The police sources said that one of the OGW arrested by the police couple of days ago was in constant touch with two Pakistani militants. Sources said that he was involved in transferring the information about each and everything that goes in the Kishtwar District and transmitted the same in such a manner so that he could not be caught or trapped by the security agencies.
The sources said arrested Hizb militant Aiyaz Ahmed Wani of Doda District was also in direct contact with Pakistan based handlers and use the technology to transfer the data to Pakistan from where the same data was edited and use to provoke the youths in Doda and Kishtwar District.
The police sources said that Aiyaz Wani along with Pakistan based handler was operating a Whatsapp group namely "Voice of Kashmir" in which few Pakistan based militants were operating as co-admins who shared anti India and Pro Kashmir movement massages and videos in the group.
The police sources said that police has manage to recover majority of the data from the mobile phone of Aiyaz Wani and that some of the conversation between him and the Pakistani based handlers gives chilling account of his involvement in the reviving of militancy in Chenab belt.
The police sources said that Aiyaz Wani managed boarding and lodging facilities for two Pakistani militants in Doda belt around a month ago and added that the Pakistani militant group that was involved in beheading the Indian soldier Hem Raj was also in constant touch with him and had given him the instruction to eliminate encounter specialist Sub Inspector Shiv Krishan Sharma alias Sonu at any cost.
The sources said that both Aiyaz Wani and arrested OGW were sent to Joint Interrogation center for further questioning added that they are hopeful for more arrest in coming days beside could manage to further crack the working of HM militant outfit in Doda and Kishtwar Districts.
