| Dir FCS&CA interacts with ration dealers | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 11: Director, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Jammu Amit Sharma, along with his team today addressed a jam-packed gathering of the Ration Dealers of winter capital Jammu wherein lot of interaction took place and issues were exchanged both ends in a very cordial atmosphere.
The Interactive meet with Fair Price Shop Ration Dealers Association Jammu was organized to hold a direct talk with Ration Dealers of the Region in which Director FCS&CA Jammu Amit Sharma was the Chief Guest, Deputy Director Food & Rationing Kulraj Singh and Assistant Director Mills Ranjit Singh Chib also accompanied him.
The gathering was initially addressed by Prabhu Dayal Sharma, President of the Association alongwith Sanjay Avril, General Secretary, Arun Chibber, Sikander Hussain and Briju Sharma wherein they talked about various challenges and issues faced by the Ration Dealers in Jammu region.
Director gave a patient hearing to all their points and issued spot directions to his officers to address all genuine ones amongst them. Apart from this, he also requested them to adopt a fair-play strategy and and refrain from getting lured into malpractices such as diversion of Ration meant for poor, non-maintenance of accounts, under-weighing or selling sub-stamdard ration.
At the same time, Amit also assured them to get their grievances redressed at all levels of FCS&CA Department as per his instructions and even they should feel free to come to him and expose such Depot holders/Dealers/Officials who are spoiling the image of department due to thier negative acts. |
