JAMMU, Sept 15: Making J&K proud, Dr. Banarsi Lal, Incharge, Senior Scientist-cum-Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) has been conferred with the two prestigious awards namely Best Scientist Award and Honorable Jury Mention Certificate Award (International Achievement Award) in the 6th Academic Achievement Awards (AAA)-2018 ceremony held recently at Mumbai, India. These awards are sponsored by the Education Expo TV (EET CRS) which is a leading research and branding independent organisation of India. He is the only scientist from J&K who has been honoured with the two coveted awards. Academic Achievement Awards(AAA) are incubated by the Education Expo TV (EET CRS) with the major objective to recognise the outstanding contributions and achievements of academicians, scientists, researchers, professional and faculties working in science and technology fields in the different colleges, universities, organisations and institutions across the globe. Academic Achievement Awards research panel which was headed by Dr. DC Singh, Chief Advisor, Research and Development selected the budding scientist for the prestigious Best Scientist Award and Honorable Jury Mention Certificate Award (International Achievement Award) on the basis of his research papers(national and international) as first author, books as first author, book chapters as first author, success stories as first author, popular articles as first author, case studies, Radio/TV talks, invited talks, trainings imparted, consultancy services, SHGs/Farmers Clubs managed, research and extension technologies refined. |
