| Police arrest 4 bovine smugglers | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, Sept 15: In Continuation to its special drive launched by Ramban Police to check the social crimes like drug/ bovine smuggling and others.
Today, on the directions of SSP Ramban Anita Sharma, a police party led by SHO Ramban Insp Vijay Kotwal under supervision of DYSP HQ Ramban Asgar Malik KPS & under close supervision of Adll SP Sanjay Parihar laid a surprise naka near Shan palace, Ramban. During checking 02 vehicles(Tata mobiles) bearing reg no. Jk 02AW/ 1806 & other vehicle without number have being signalled to stop for checking, on search of the above said vehicle's both were found loaded with bovine animals which were being illegally transported towards Kashmir. 12 bovine animals have been rescued and 4 smugglers Mushtaq Ahmed resident of Krimchi Mansar, Malik Khanresident of Supply More Udhmpur Shabir Ahmed resident of Parnote and Zakir Hussain resident of Karimchi Mansar have been taken into custody.
Moreover, both the vehicle has been seized. In this regard case FIR No. 140/2018 & 141/2018 U/S 188RPC, 3 PC Act stands registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation taken up. |
