Zojila, Gulmarg receive season's first snowfall

Srinagar, Sept 15: The upper reaches of Kashmir experienced the season's first snowfall on Saturday.
An official said the upper reaches of the Valley, including Zojila pass, Drass and Minamarg, on Srinagar -Leh highway received fresh spell of light snowfall on Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, the upper reaches of world famous Ski resort Gulmarg also received season's first snowfall today.
Reports said that the Afarwat mountains at Gulmarg in Baramulla district received the snowfall bringing the temperature in Gulmarg considerably down. Earlier in the day reports of snowfall were also received from central Kashmir's Sonamarg tourist resort.
