| PDD erects electric pole near plinth of commoner | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 21: A local today alleged that Power development department is harassing him by erecting an electric pole near the plinth of his private land at Pacca Talab, Old Bahu Fort, Jammu.
Talking to Early Times, Ravi Kumar of ward no 47 of Pacca Talab Old Bahu Fort Jammu said that the Department of Power Development has erected electric police with the plinth of his private land at Pacca Talab, Old Bahu Fort Jammu and despite repeated requests and representations they have failed to erect it on new place.
He further said that he had sought judicial intervention seeking directions for the department and the court also issued orders to the one of the respondents i.e Chief Engineer EM and RE Wing Jammu to deal the representation and pass appropriate orders therein in accordance with law within two weeks from the date, a copy of the order is provided to him.
The aggrieved petitioner however, submitted the order copy with the department on 6th Sept of 2018 but the department failed to take any action.
While talking to the Chief Engineer PDD-Sudhir Gupta said that the matter is in my knowledge and he had passed the directions for the appropriate actions. |
