FMPHWs dharna enters day 32

Jammu, Sept 27: The protest demonstration of Female Multipurpose Health workers entered into 32th day. During the protest, the protesters raised anti government slogans and appealed the government
to change the arrogant attitude towards the 2211-Head salary FMPHW's .
They also threatened the government if the issued has not been considered immediately the children's and the other Family members will also join the Dharna.
Further the president of the FMPHWs also informed that some days before a colleague of their cadres belonging to Hiranagar tehsil had expired because she was suffering from very severe illness and
couldn't get the proper treatment due to the irregularities of pay. She further told the press that even every year this fraternity has forced to choose the agitation path because their salary issue has not
been resolve before giving assurance by the previous /present Government again and again. Irregularities of salary under Major Head 2211 effected their lives severely because some works has taken the loan from the bank and without salary they have not been able to pay their monthly premium timely and the bank imposed compounds interest on that amount, whenever they get the salary after five or six months they pay double interest rate to the bank.
Those who participate in Dharna include Neelam Kumari, Surya Akhter, Sapna Gupta General Secretary, Mamta Devi, Sunita Devi,. Jagjeet Kour, Nirmal Kour, , Varinder Kour, Jagbir Kour, Manjeet kour, Pooja Devi ,Shashi bala, Kamlesh, Jeevan Jyoti, Anchal Devi, Kamla devi, Soma Devi, Pushpa Devi, Rani, and Shaffket hussain Kamal Jit Sawhney Ch Jarnal Singh Madan Lal Ch Subash and ors.
