Early Times Report

Udhampur, Sept 28: Though the National Panthers Party is loudly claiming to be the exclusive custodian of Jammu interests, it has dumped its very founders.
Surprisingly this development came exactly ahead of the upcoming Urban Local Bodies (ULB) elections and the supporters of ignored leaders have poured out their heart, of course on the social media.
Moreover, a big hoarding has appeared exactly at the bank of River Tawi in Jammu which reads : "Panthers Layen, Jammu Sashakt Banayen' which means bring Panthers (Panthers Party) to make Jammu strong. The central idea behind this line is an appeal to the voters of Jammu to vote Panthers Party candidate in upcoming ULB elections.
When contacted a leader from BJP and another from Congress informed that their banners contain photos of most of the tall leaders of their parties. BJP even accommodates Dr Shama Prashad Mukerjee and other late leaders while senior leaders were not lucky enough to invite such honour from the party he founded.
On the condition of not being named, a senior Panthers Party leader informed that when they (presents dispensation in Panthers Party) can't care about their elders what care Jammu may expect from them.
The insider further informed that the new Secretary of the party has no experience in such matters and he has ego problem in consulting his seniors.
Moreover, when on social media the party secretary Gagan Pratap was asked about reasons of senior leader from important places including hoardings and posters but he turned abusive and faced public wrath.
Bishan-a onetime Panthers Party worker informed that such goonism and abusive was the character of party activists during campaign in 2014 and the party returned empty in those elections. Earlier it had three MLAs.
Surprisingly, the party has also enrolled some dumb elements who on social media say that Panthers Party will have next Jammu mayor and then there will be holiday on birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh and Jammu will be converted to Switzerland etc.
As such things are not under the powers of a municipal mayor, such posts are inviting laughter stocks on social media.
Party sources further informed that not only Bhim Singh, all the founder members of the party like Anita Thakur, H.C Jalmeria, Bansi Lal, Ganjoo etc have been dumped.
