Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 6: Sikh organizations of Jammu have decided to join the Bargari Insaf Morcha on 13th of October. According to press release, J&K State Gurudwara Parbandak Board, DGPC Jammu & other DGPC's Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) and Sikh Intellectuals circle have expressed their solidarity with Bargari Insaf Morcha in Punjab.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of T.S Wazir (Ex-MLC) Chairman J&K State Gurudwara Parbandhak Board. While addressing joint press conference along with other Sr. Sikh leaders in Jammu today, S.T.S Wazir said that Bargari Insaf Morcha was launched by acting Jathedar of Akal Takhat Sahib Bhai Dhayan Singh Mand and other Jathedars appointed by Sarbat Khalsa, demanding stern action against police officers involved in unprovoked firing on Anti Sacrilege protesters.
He said sentiments of entire sikh community in J&K were also badly hurt due to desecration of Guru Granth Sahib in Punjab, the unprovoked police firing and undermining the institution of Sri Akal Takht Sahib to please the controversial Sirsa Dera Chief by Parkash Singh Badal Akali Dal Govt. in Punjab. The Parkash Singh Badal govt. had clearly tried to defend the culprits of sacrilege acts and unprovoked firing which was totally indefensible and ultimately all these wrongful acts came to light because the justice Ranjit Singh Commission dug out the truth and made everything public by nominating the police officers involved in unprovoked firing, role of Dera sacha Soda and its controversial chief and his nexus with Badals.
Other Sikhs leader present in press conference included S. Jaspal Singh Mangal, S. Avtar Singh Khalsa, S. Jagjeet Singh, Bhai Gurdev Singh, S. Narinder Singh Khalsa, S. Harjinder Singh Raina, S Surjeet Singh, S. Manmohan Singh, & S. Amarjeet Singh Simbal Camp.
