| Miss Multinational interacts with members of women SHGs | | | Early Times Report
samba, Oct 6: Deepshikha Sharma, Miss India Multinational today interacted with members of Women Self Help Groups here at Panchayat GharSangwali.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Samba Arun Manhas and SDM GhagwalRitu Mahajan welcome the guest.
The ADC highlighted the activities of self-help groups & their success stories. He added that self-help groups play an important role in economic & social advancement of poor women from rural strata of society.
Deepshikha Sharma had interactive session with women from self-help groups where a number of questions were put forth regarding her life, success & future plans. Expressing happiness over her interaction with women from self-helpgroups Deepshikha Sharma said that each member is an inspiring example of revolution, collective efforts and entrepreneurship. She said that women are enterprising and have enormous inner strength for self-relianceduring odd circumstances and they only need opportunities to perform.
Earlier she visited different schools of Distt. Samba and shared her success story with Teachers, Students and other staff members of the school and encouraged students to participate in different competitions. SDM Ritu Mahajan, Nodal Officer Rajesh Heera, BDO GhagwalVishvjeet Singh and concerned officers were present during the event. |
