| SKUAST-J scientists, students awarded during International conference at Jaipur | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 31: SKUAST-J scientist and student received prestigious awards under different categories at the three day International conference on 'Global research Initiatives for Sustainable Agriculture and Allied Sciences held at Rajasthan Agricultural research Institute, Jaipur, Rajasthan on October 28-30, this year.
Dr Dhirendra Kumar, presently working as Assistant Professor in Animal Genetics and Breeding at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu, was conferred Fellow Award by the Society for Scientific Development in Agriculture and Technology (SSDAT) during the Conference for his outstanding contribution in the subject.
Rakhshan Jeelani received Best Thesis Award 2018 by the Society for Scientific Development in Agriculture and Technology (SSDAT) for her quality research work carried out under MVSc programme at SKUAST-J on theme 'Study on amelioration of heat stress in dairy animals through micro environmental modification" under the prudent guidance of Dr. B. Brahma, Associate Professor, Division of Livestock Production & Management of SKUAST-Jammu.
Around 200 scientists and equal number of research scholars from the country and abroad attended and deliberated on various emerging issue in agriculture and allied sectors in the conference. |
