| BDO Warwan attached for showing negligence in election duties | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Oct 31: Taking strong note of non performance on part of the senior official towards on going election process, District Election Officer Kishtwar while taking serious note of lackdiasical attitude shown in election related duties today attached BDO Warwan.
Mohd Rafi in the office of ACD Kishtwar as the said officer who also is Nodal Officer for conduct of Panchayat Elections in his block failed to furnish the details of final ward wise numbers of nomination forms of Sarpanches and Panches received as on 30.10.2018 within stipulated timelines. The decision was taken after state election authorities shows its concern towards delay on part of the District Administration in providing the requisite details on time.
As per the details available with Early Times, the said attitude of the officer tantamounts to unbecoming of an officer and in his place Riaz Ahmed Lone BDO HQ ACD Office, Kishtwar has been transferred and posted as BDO Warwan. The officials further warned all the officers/ officials who have been assigned with different duties in upcoming Panchayat elections to perform their duties with utmost dedication and if any laxity is shown by any officer/official strict action would be taken against them. |
