Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Nov 1: Seeking a SIT probe into the cold blooded murder of Dharam Chand, SC Cell Block President Kulwanta of Panthers Party in Ramnagar constituency, the local unit of the Panthers Party held a massive protest in Ramnagar town and sought immediate arrest of the criminals involved in the most heinous offence. The agitated workers of NPP blocked road in Ramnagar alleging it a part of a larger conspiracy against the Panthers Party leadership which continued to be threatened in the past by criminals owing allegiance to opposition parties particularly the BJP. Addressing the gathering, Pawan Dev Singh State Secretary Young Panthers said that the Panthers leader was eliminated by political opponents under a well hatched conspiracy. He said that the deceased Dharam Chand who was contesting the Sarpanch election from lehar Panchayat of Kulwanta Block had visited the Tehsil office Ramnagar on Tuesday, 30 October, 2018 in connection with fulfilment of necessary formalities for filing his nomination papers. He said that the very same evening, he was assaulted by some unidentified goons while he was on way back home and left unconscious in a pool of blood. "He had multiple injuries on his head where the doctors put up 45 stitches and referred him to GMC Hospital in an unconscious state. The deceased succumbed to his fatal injuries yesterday in the Hospital without recovering from coma" said Pawan Dev.
