DLSA inaugurates Legal Literacy Club at Boys Hr Sec School

Kathua, Nov 1: A Legal Literacy Club was today inaugurated at Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School Kathua under the Chairmanship of Sanjeev Gupta, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority(Pr. District & Sessions Judge Kathua) by Chief Judicial Magistrate (Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee), Amarjeet Singh Langeh and Secretary District Legal Services Authority (Munsiff JMIC Kathua), Preet Simran Kour.
Speaking on the occasion CJM highlighted the significance and objection of establishing Legal Literacy club under the J&K State Legal Services authority regulations. He also highlighted and apprised the students of the services being provided by the Legal Services Authority at different levels in State and exhorted the children to avail the benefits under various schemes. Principal of the school alongwith Staff and students besides retainer lawyers of District Legal Services Authority and Tehsil Legal Services Committee Kathua alongwith PLVs were also present on the inaugural occasion.
The Chairmans of Tehsil Legal Services Committees of Hiranagar, Billawar, Basholi and Bani have also inaugurated the Legal Literacy Clubs at Govt. Hr. Sec. schools Hiranagar, Billawar, Basholi and Bani respectively.
