| Various organizations hail Governor's positive statement on J&K Bank | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 1: Various organizations have hailed the Governor's positive statement on the working of J&K Bank. In a statement, the Jammu and Kashmir Bank Employees Association has hailed Governor Satya Pal Malik for his magnanimous support and encouragement to its grand institution led by the visionary leadership of chairman and CEO, Parvez Ahmed and quashing the rumors in the media spread against the Bank in the light of recent happenings.
The statement further said that the Jammu and Kashmir Bank represents a legacy of success spreading over eighty years in pre and post independent India standing as an example of excellent work culture, ethical business practices, high professional standards and value centric approaches.
Hotel and Restaurant Association Katra in a meeting held here today to discuss the recent developments with regards to the selection of candidates in J&K Bank hailed the recent statement of Governor and unanimously resolved to extend full support to JK Bank and its leadership.
Interacting with the media, President Hotel and Restaurant Association Rakesh Wazir said "JK Bank is a premier institution of J&K which has offered decades of honorable service. We hail the gesture of the Governor, in restoring a positive sentiment among people towards the Bank. We commend the visionary leadership of Chairman and CEO JK Bank, Parvez Ahmed rendering the business friendly approach which has infused a new lease of life in the fledgling Hotel Industry by supporting the creation of hotel and tourism infrastructure in the state, he added.
Jammu Joint Student Federation (JJSF) today welcomed the statement of Governor Satya Pal Malik in which he has appreciated the developmental role of J&K Bank besides describing the bank as a wonderful institution doing good work. The student leaders expressed gratitude for the efforts of Jammu & Kashmir Bank under the leadership of Parvez Ahmed for playing an outstanding role towards promotion of sports and welfare activities for youths in the state. |
