Lo Phir Ram yaad Aye

Suddenly Ram who is the breath and soul of India and its cosmopolitan cultural tradition has been raised to centre political stage. Ram is remembered just before the upcoming elections to five state assemblies and the general elections of 2019. It is most unfortunate and irony that Ram temple politics is again being used rather misused by the right wing saffron parties in the run up to the Lok Sabha elections. If anything or any issue has been politicized most in the sensitive political frame of the country, it is the controversial issue of Ram temple at Ayodhya. It is very sad that political parties without any exception are using and misusing Ram's name and dumping it after elections. Abruptly Ram's name is remembered by the political parties particularly, the Saffron brigade and BJP, to dupe and blackmail the gullible voters in the general elections of 2019. The fact of the matter is that BJP and Sangh Parivar are politicizing the controversial issue of Ram temple for its political dividends. They are hardly interested in resolving the Ayodhya controversy because of the political compulsions and keeping the much politicized issue in its stock and itinerary just to use and dump it at the opportune time, which befits the political scheme of the party. It is the Ram temple mantra which has raised the BJP from a few seats in parliament to the pinnacles of power earlier and in 2014 elections, the BJP has used the Ram card along with the slogan of development and reached its zenith with getting more than absolute majority in parliament and framed the government. But unfortunately after forming the government in 2014, the party has the required arithmetic in the Lok Sabha, has never tired to solve the much politicized issue of Ram temple at Ayodhya. During four and the half years of NDA rule headed by BJP, the party has not made sincere efforts to resolve the Ram temple issue and had discarded and dumped it. But now once again, the BJP and its other saffron outfits are raking Ram temple issue to polarize the political firmament in the country just to garner the much needed votes in the upcoming elections. Political parties and more so BJP is hardly interested in resolving this issue to the satisfaction of all the communities but always at the eve of the election uses it as a tactic to arouse the emotions and sentiments of the electorate to gain votes. Ram temple issue has become a stock in trade for BJP and even other so called secular parties who all use and misuse it as per their needs and requirements. Ram temple Babri Mashjid issue is a very old problem handed out to free India by past history. It is alleged that Mugal emperor Babar had destroyed Ram temple at Ayodhya somewhere in 1525 A.D and had rasied a mosque at the place and the saffron parties say that the stain of 1525 A.D has been removed by destruction of the disputed structure in Ayodhya by car Sevaks in December 1992. The fact is that it is very old issue from the last 500 years and it needs to be solved for the purpose of communal amity and harmony by negotiations with all stakeholders. But earnest efforts are not made to resolve this controversy by the political satraps of this country who remain busy only in politicizing the issue for vote bank politics and keeping it in their stock for its use and misuse when it suit them. Thu for the good of this country and its politics the issue should be resolved and all stakeholders of the problem should operate in solving the issue once for all. There is no denying the fact that Ayodhya is the birth place of Lord Ram as history is testimony to this fact and all stake holders know it and thus should they play their positive role for the resolution of this ticklish issue which if not solved has the potential of disturbing the communal harmony in the country. Thus, the issue needs to be solved either by negotiations which muslim leaders who knew it well that Ayodhya is the birth place of lord Ram and no well that the mosque can be constructed at some other place. If it is not possible then the court should decide the case on day to day basis and pronounce its decision quickly and not linger on the case but the court should keep the sentiments and faith of the crores of the Hindus into consideration. If this is not possible then the central government should bring an ordinance to pave way for the construction of the temple at Ayodhya. If in Shah Sano case the central government has reversed the decision of the Apex court, why does not the central government enact a law through parliament to enable the construction Ram temple at Ayodhya? Secular satraps should also see in their sleeves and help in the enactment of the law to construct a Ram temple at Ayodhya which is a dream of crores of hindus across the county. But the fact remains neither the saffron clad BJP nor the so called secularist parties are in a mood to resolve the controversial issue but they raised and utilize this issue for vote bank politics. Now, the patience of the Sadhus has weaned away and they making pressure on the BJP government at the central for the construction of the Ram temple. They have declared that government should construct Ram temple by involving of the audience route or by enacting a law in this direction to pass way for the construction of Ram temple. Sadhus Dharam Sansad has shown tough postures and they have declared if a Ram temple is not constructed at the earliest the Ram bakhtas will not struggle now but will fight a war to build Ram temple. But nothing should be done to vitiate the communal amity and brotherhood and no one should be allowed to take law in his hands but at the same time, earnest and honest efforts should be made to construct Ram temple at Ayodhya. The lingering issue of Ram temple and the Ram lala in the make shift temple under tarpaulin roof is a national shame on the country because if a temple dedicated to lord Ram can't be built in India and at his birth place. Where can it be built? The Muslim leaders should also see the reality and history and contribute their might for the construction of the grand temple at Ayodhya. The janyoudari Rahul Gandhi should make his stand clear on the issue of Ram temple and should also play a positive and constructive role in the resolution of this controversy and not take political mileage out of it. Shashi Tharoor, the congress party poster boy's outbursts will a great harm to the congress party and will further politicized the issue. Tharoor's controversial statements like Hindu Taliban, Hindu Pakistan and recent remark of making Ram temple in people's heart has no takers in the country. Tharoor should know that Lord Ram is present in the minds and hearts of the crores of hindus across the country but the only need is the construction of a grand temple at Ayodhya in the honour of lord Rama. Therefore, without politicizing the issue, the Ram temple needs to be constructed for the good of the Indian politics and communal harmony. Is anybody listening? It is no use to polarize the politics in the name of lord Ram rather there is urgent needs to harmonize different sections of the society for the strength and survival of unity in diversity. Ram politics and diplomacy by the political parties whether Saffrornites or by the secularists is not needed and there should be halt to Mandir politics for nation sake please
