Srinagar, Nov 8: The Jammu and Kashmir meteorological department has said that Kashmir will witness a fresh spell of widespread precipitation, rain, and snowfall in the coming week. File image of man and woman walking amid snowfall
An official of the Met Department said there are chances of scattered to fairly widespread rain/snowfall in Valley from November 12 to 14.
The Srinagar city has recorded minus 0.4 -degree Celsius temperature, Qazigund has recorded minus 1.8. Tourist destination Pahalgam has recorded minus 3.4, the night's lowest temperatures and Gulmarg has recorded minus 5.4. While Kupwara has recorded minus 2.0 degree Celsius and Kokernag have recorded minus 0.3, respectively. The Jammu city has recorded 11.5, Katra 10.2, Batote 7.1, Banihal 3.2 and Bhaderwah 3.8 degrees Celsius. Kargil was coldest at minus 8.6, and Leh at minus 6.5 degrees Celsius.
