Jammu, Nov 8: OBC Department of Pradesh Congress Committee under its program of OBC Sampark Abhiyan organized a program in the west assembly Jammu led by its Chairman OBC Department PCC J&K, Adv Suresh Dogra in which large number of OBC masses were participated.
Addressing the OBC masses, Adv .SK. Dogra said "Every time the OBC masses were deceived by the prevailing Government, despite of 52% population in the state as well as center, we the OBC masses neglected and ignored by the rulers." ADV. Dogra further said OBC masses made their best efforts and appealed all the successive Govt. for the implementation of "MANDAL Commission Report" But failed.
Dogra said the Congress party is committed to work for the OBC peoples and also appeal to the said masses that if congress party comes in majority in the forth coming assembly as well as parliamentary election in the state then the MANDAL commission report shall be the major consideration for the party.
The previous BJP PDP led Govt. has befooled the OBC peoples by adding more castes in the SRO, but enhancement of percentage of reservation was not considered.
