Jammu, Nov 8: Water Works (PHE) Employees Association celebrated Vishwakarma Day" under the leadership of Provincial President, Shiv Kumar Sharma, at Kunjwani workshop of PHE Ground Water and Drilling division Jammu.
On the occasion PHE Department staff performed Pooja and Havan and the floral wreaths were also offered to Bhagvan Vishwakarma. After performing pooja Chief Guest threw light on the Bhagvan Vishwakarma's life and urged to follow the path shown by him. Superintending Engineer, F A Chaudhary was also present on the occasion.
While addressing the staff member provincial president Shiv Kumar Sharma maintained that the working classes are back-bone of the country. This class contributes mainly to the development and progress of any society in the world, but it is amazing that this vital component of the society has to struggle hard for its rights in our state.
Vishwakarma day celebrated with religious fervor and gaiety at Vishwakarma temple Hari Singh Chowk Samba here today. According to the report, the holy and spiritual day of Bhagwan Vishawkarma ji was also celebrated in whole of the Samba district with enthusiasm and fervor. The Main function was organized at Bhagwan Vishawkarma temple Hari Singh Chowk Samba, in which the devotees from whole of the district come and took the blessing of Bhagwan Vishawkarma ji. The Devotes were started comes in the temple early morning and took the blessing of Vishwakarma Ji. On the occasion, Satsang, Hawan and Bhandara were also organized by the committee Members.
Besides industrial established were closed in whole of the district also for the celebration of Vishawkarma Day.
