Army organizes Inter School Painting Competition

Rajouri, Nov 25: Rajouri Garrison under the aegis of Ace of Spades Division on Saturday organized a inter school painting competition at army school in which more than 100 students took part.
The main aim behind the competition was to nurture creativity and promote extra-curricular activities among the youth in Rajouri & Poonch districts.
The competition was held a Valley View Army Public School (VVAPS) and more than 100 students from 12 schools participated in the competition and portrayed their imaginations on the canvas. "Student and the teachers were divided into five categories as per seniorities and each category was given a different theme to paint their imaginations which includes /my family', 'energy conservation', 'global warming', digital India & 'save the girl child" said army spokesman.
Vaishali Sharma, wife of Station Commander Rajouri Garrison was the chief guest on this occasion. All the participants displayed indomitable spirit and competitive attributes by bringing the kaleidoscope of their imagination on a sheet of paper.
"All the participants were felicitated with gifts while the winners of each category also bagged attractive gift hampers. The participants along with their teachers left everyone spellbound by the fitness of their art and creative.
