Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 25: Stunned by response given to Lal Singh in the on-going Panchyat elections, the BJP- which always claimed to the champion of the cause these two areas, is finding it difficult to digest the stand taken by the its annoyed leader.
Fearing that their pro-Jammu agenda would be hijacked by the Lal Singh, BJP leaders not claiming that people of Jammu have no option but to vote them
"BJP leaders have realized that their agenda has been hijacked by Lal Singh so they are uttering such language in frustration", said Rajiv Sharma of Jammu Youth Forum. He advised BJP leaders to keep aside their petty political interests and come on a single platform to fight for the cause of Jammu.
There is feeling among general people that BJP leaders, while in power have failed to fulfill wishes and aspirations of the people of Jammu region.
Choudhary Lal Singh is going to float his own pro-Jammu apolitical outfit before assembly elections to intensify his ongoing fight to "restore" dignity and honour of the ethnic Dogra minority of J&K.
Since April 13 this year, when he was forced by the party high command to resign from the council of ministers for supporting the demand of CBI probe into the infamous and heinous Rassana rape and murder case, Lal Singh has been addressing rallies across Jammu region, raking up pro-Dogra sentiments to emerge as pro-Jammu leader before 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
Lal Singh has virtually hijacked BJP's pro-Jammu agenda so party finding it difficult to oppose own leader- who is MLA from Basohli segment of Kathua district. Secondly response being received by Singh has added woes of the party.
