Jammu, Dec 4: A meeting of Youth Hostels Association of India (YHAI), Jammu unit was held today in which new secretary was elected.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Ravinder Singh, former Director School Education, Jammu in the presence of GR Bhagat, IAS (Retd), President YHAI Jammu.
Office bearers of YHAI Jammu unit also attended the meeting. Agenda of the meeting was to nominate name of Secretary for YHAI Jammu unit and to discuss the future action plan and activities for next year.
At the outset YHAI Jammu unit congratulated newly elected members comprised of Mohd Shafi Pandit, President, Padam S.P Varma as State Chairman, Sr. J.P Singh, Vice President, Mehmood Ahmad Shah, Vice President, K.K Gandotra, Vice President, Abdul Majeed Bichoo, State Treasurer, Dr Taran Singh, State Secretary, G.D Shahmir, Organising Secre-tary (Kashmir Province), and Sanjeev Arora Organi-sing Secretary (Jammu Province) in the recently concluded Triennial Elect-ion of J&K state Branch of YHAI. Sanjeev Arora was elected as secretary. |
