Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 4: : Rajput Sabha Kishtwar today came down heavily on the Kishtwar Police as well as on the District administration for their failure in arresting the people involved in the killing of Anil Kumar Parihar and Ajeet Kumar Parihar who were killed on November 1.
The Sabha called upon the government to reshuffle the district administration including DC Kishtwar along with SSP Kishtwar for their failure.
Members of Rajput Sabha led by Vijay Kumar Wazir, President Rajput Sabha Kishtwar assembled outside old DC Office Kishtwar and held a strong protest against police and administration and called upon the government to inform the people of Kishtwar about the progress made in the case related to the killing of BJP leader Anil Parihar. The protesters said that even after a lapse of more than one month, Kishtwar police and administration fail to arrest the culprits involved behind the gruesome murder of Parihar brothers.
Addressing the gathering, former District President Santhan Dharam Sabha Raj Kumar Badyal said that police and administration were answerable before the Rajput community as well as before the people of Kishtwar to name the culprits involved in the killings. He said that the silence of leadership to which late Anil was associated raised many doubts on the investigation added that they will not allow anyone to hush up the case of Parihar brothers killing like the way investigation into previous killings in Kishtwar were sabotaged.
President Rajput Sabha Vijay Kumar Wazir demanded immediate transfer of DC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana and SSP Kishtwar Rajinder Gupta adding that both the officers fail to unmask the killers of Parihar brothers. He said that people of Kishtwar had lost their faith on them and called upon the government for immediate arrest of the culprits whosoever without his political or religious affiliation. He said that in case the government fails to bring the culprits to justice, Rajput Sabha will intensify its protest in Kishtwar in coming days.
Several members of Rajput community also spoke on this occasion and said that they will not allow any more politics on the blood of Rajputs who are continuously falling prey to bullets in Kishtwar District since last three decades since the emergence of militancy in the state.
