JAMMU, Dec 4: Dr. Supran K. Sharma, Associate Prof., School of Business, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra chaired a technical session and delivered an expert talk at International Conference on 'Recent Trends in Business, Management and Sustainable Development' held at Manipur University, Imphal.
During the talk Dr. Sharma emphasized on encouraging the use of e-platforms and social media for better marketing and effective sales of goods and services of micro small and medium enterprises in the country. He quoted various success stories being written by small entrepreneurs in the economy in this field.
As a part of the conference, educational visits to Myanmar market of small entrepreneurs were also conducted. The prestigious event was jointly organized by Manipur Institute of Management Studies, Manipur University and North Eastern Management Association. The event had witnessed the participation from different places including Mizoram University; MJP Rohilkhand University; North-Eastern Hill University, Meghalaya; Phitsanulok University, Thailand; Gujarat University, Ahmedabad; Thaksin University, Thailand; Indian Institute of Bank Management, Guwahati; Heidelberg University, Germany; Rhine Waal University of Applied Sciences, Germany; EDII, Ahmedabad; University of Chittagong; Bangladesh etc. The Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU, Dr. Sanjeev jain congratulated the faculty member and wished that he might excel in his academic career. |
