Jammu, Dec 10: Shri Sain Charitable Trust for Higher Education & Research organizes 4th Blood Donation Camp on the Birth Anniversary of Late Dr. Roop Lal Sharma Founder-Chairman of the Trust. One day voluntarily blood donation camp was organized at Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Jammu on 10-12-2018 in collaboration with Blood Bank, SMGS Hospital, Jammu. The team was headed by Dr. Rubina Kosur, BTO( Blood Transfusion Officer). Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar, Commissioner, Food Safety and Dr. Phuntsog Angchuk, Director ISM, were the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour on the occasion. As many as 124 Students and staff Members from the colleges running under Shri Sain Charitable Trust donated the blood voluntarily. Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar, Commissioner, Food Safety and Dr. Phuntsog Angchuk Director ISM, complemented the initiative taken by the Trust for saving some lives. They also appreciated the staff members and students of the Colleges under the Trust for their participation in the blood donation camp. They said that saving one's life is the biggest noble cause and upon the masses to come forward voluntarily to join the blood donation. |
