| Vomedh stages 'Aisa Kyon Hota Hai' | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 10: Continuing its cultural revolution through Terrace Theatre, Vomedh Rangmanch today staged 14th episode of its innovative and revolutionary Terrace Theatre series by staging 'Aisa Kyon Hota Hai' written by Ramesh Pandita and Directed by Rohit Bhat at Vomedh studio Janipur.
Anil Kumar, Corporator, Ward No. 10 was the chief guest on the occasion while Veena Wanchoo, of Kallpoosh Foundation and Ravi Mahaldar of Matamaal were the guests of Honour. Theatre persons who watched the performance include King C Bharati, Jitender Jotshi and others. Terrace Theatre a revolutionary concept visualised by King C Bharati and materialised by Rakesh Roshan Bhat and Rohit Bhat of Vomedh is taking theatre to the doorsteps of the people and involving them in real life interactions than virtual media to revive old cultural neighbourhood bonding and promote the theatre simultaneously. Vomedh team presented "Aisa Kyon Hota Hai' a socially relevant subject of old age homes and neglect of the elderly people by their children.
The assembled audience loved the performances as well as the concept and appreciated the Vomedhians for brilliant performances and concept of Terrace Theatre. Next fortnight Vomedh will travel to a new terrace at a new location to showcase its new concept as Vomedh is open to such performances on any terrace whoever wants to host the show. |
