JAMMU, Dec 14: In the ongoing Youth Talent Search competitions Lawrence Public School Sidhra held Inter-School Rangoli and Button, Hook, Eye, Hemming competition under the aegis of Youth Talent Search a forum of schools. Students from seven reputed schools of Jammu participated in this competition.
The judges on this occasion were Suneet Raina Muncipal Corporator Ward no. 9, Shama Akhter Muncipal Corporator Ward no. 71 and Pooja Kochhar renowned dietitian. Shakuntla Joshi Founder Principal Lawrence Public School welcomed the guests along with students and staff members of the participating schools. The program started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the Special Guests and the Founder Principal.
Two competitions were held, in which the boys participated in the button, hook, eye, hemming competition whereas the girls participated in the rangoli competition.
In the Inter-School button, hook, hemming competition the judges declared S.D Tara Puri School as the first prize winner, Alexander Memorial School as the second prize winner, JK Montessorrie School and Lawrence Public School Panjtirthi as third prize winners. Whereas in the Inter-School rangoli competition the judges declared Lawrence Public School Panjtirthi as the first prize winner. |
