Jammu, Dec 18: One day Awareness cum demonstration programme held at Government Industrial Training Institute Jammu which was organized by Civil Defence Jammu under the guidance of V. K. Singh, IPS, DGP, Commandant General, Homeguard/ Civil Defence & SDRF J&K, Muneer Ahmed Khan, IPS, ADGP, HG / CD & SDRF J&K, Vikas Gupta, JKPS, SSP, Incharge DIG HG/CD & SDRF Jammu and under the supervision of Dy.SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the awareness camp the students/staff were make aware about the knowledge of First Aid, (CPR, Chocking, Snake bite) and Fire Fighting by the Civil Defence Instructors. While speaking on the occasion Anita Pawar, Dy. SP, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu, highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization in the community.
Rajinder Kumar, Principal of the Institute was also present on the occasion and highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence and thanked Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and her team for organizing such important awareness/demonstration programme. At least 80 students/ teaching/non-teaching staff attended the awareness programme. The following Civil Defence wardens were also present on the occasion. |
