| Urvi from Kathua bags 3rd Runner- Up trophy in UCMAS | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Dec 18: It is a matter of pride for Learning Abacus Centre, Learning Temple English Medium High School, Kathua that only student from the State of Jammu & Kashmir named Urvi competed with the UCMAS Abacus Learners from 40 countries of the world in International Competition on 9th-10th of December 2018. There she achieved 3rd Runner- Up Trophy along with a "Certificate of Recognition" of UCMAS, which is an International Institution giving education of Abacus.
Urvi was also honoured with a cash prize by UCMAS Centre at Jammu on her return from Malaysia. The staff of Learning Abacus Centre welcomed Urvi and her parents in the Centre where all students and staff celebrated the victory with enthusiasm.
In a press conference held here today in the campus of Learning Temple English Medium High School, Kathua, Urvi said that it was a wonderful experience for her while competing with the students of all over the world.
She added that Abacus learning makes the learners competent to quick calculations on finger tips without the help of any calculator. |
