One killed, 35 injured in road mishap

ramban, Dec 24: One person was killed and 35 others injured when a bus they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell down into deep gorge at Khuni Nallah of district Ramban this morning.
The Indo-Tibetan border police (ITBP) bus bearing registration no JK04-5369 was on the way to Jammu from Srinagar and after reaching Khuni Nallah the driver lost control over the vehicle resulting in this accident.
The ill fated bus was being driven by Nazir Ahmed. After getting information Police, Army and civil QRT reached on spot and started rescue operation.
All the injured paramilitary personnel were shifted to District Hospital Ramban from where 9 critically injured persons airlifted and other 2 were shifted by road to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for further treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Mohd Ahmed Ali whereas the injured persons have been identified as Amit Kumar, Mohinder Singh Rajinder Singh Kamlesh Kumar, Sheesh Ram, Mehfooz Khan, Tej Singh, Sunil Kumar Rawat, Sohan Singh, Mohinder Kumar, Nar Singh, Santosh Kumar, Nazir Ahmed, Arun Kumar, Mohammad Anees Ansari, Rakesh Kumar, Pardeep Kumarm Sandeep Singh, Ankit Kumar, Sajan, L Murli, Satish Kumar, Rajinder Kumar, V Suresh, Dharamenddra Singh, Ashok, Ankur Tomar, Rajinder Yadav, Nawal Kishore, Sudhanshu, Suresh Kumar, Tej Singh, Ajmal Summaiya, Rajesh Kumar and Sunil Kumar.
