| Guru Ravidass birthday to be celebrated on Feb 19 | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 24: All Jammu and Kashmir Guru Ravidass Sabha organisation is going to celebrate Shoba Yatra on 17th February and Guru Ravidass birthday on 19th February.
M.L Banalia addressing the press conference said that it was unanimously decided that a grand Shoba Yatra will be arranged on 17th February at Jammu to celebrate 642nd Parkash Utsav of Guru Ravidass. The Yatra will commence from the head quarter of all J&K Guru Ravidass Gurduwara Krishna Nagar Jammu.
He added after passing through bazaars it will culminate at Guru Ravidass Gurduwara Bahu forte. Similarly, the main function of the Parkash Utsav will be held on 19th February 2019 at Guru Dwara Krishna Nagar.
Banalia appealed the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir to participate in both the functions and make it a great success. Further he said that all SC, ST, OBC's should also participate to give the event a secular look.
The press conference was attended by president, general secretaries of all the branches of all Jammu and Kashmir Guru Ravidass Sabha. |
