Minibus turns turtle, 16 injured

KHOUR, Dec 24: Sixteen passengers sustained injuries when the minibus they were travelling in turned turtle on the road at village Sailanwali of Khour area. Police sources said that today at 1000 hours one minibus bearing registration number JK02Q-5386 on its way from Battal to Khour turned turtle on the road at village Sailanwali of sector Khour resulting injuries to 16 passengers.
Police said that all the injured were shifted to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Pallanwala and have been identified as Sheelo Devi (55) wife of Lata Parkash Chand of Seri Palai, Prinka Devi (22) daughter of Harbans Lal of Bandowala, Wali son of Faqir Bakarwal presently staying at Kalah, Vijay Kumari (20) daughter of Rattan Lal, Bindu Sharma (18) daughter of Janak Raj of Kalah, Neha Sharma (22) wife of Suresh Kumar of Battal, Dimple Kumari daughter of Kaku Ram of Malal, Surishta Devi wife of Vinay Kumar of Seri Palai, Sushil Kumar son of Sheru Ram of Dhakar, Sunita Sharma daughter of Suresh Kumar of Battal, Gopal Singh son of Naar Singh of Seri Palai, Anuradha daughter of Gopal Dass of Kalah, Preeti Devi daughter of Bhagwan Dass of Seri Palai, Bandhana Devi daughter of Om Parkash of Kalah, Nisha Devi daughter of Sat Pal of Kalah and Anjali Devi daughter of Manga Ram of Kalah all under treatment at PHC Pallanwala.
Police further said that Sheelo Devi (55) wife of Lata Parkash Chand of Seri Palai, Prinka Devi (22) daughter of Harbans Lal of Bandowala were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu. Police have taken cognizance of the matter.
