| JKWA conducts screening of wrestlers | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 24: Jammu and Kashmir wrestling association (JKWA) conducted screening selection of 6 wrestlers of the state at Bajrangi Akhara today in the presence of chief sports officer Jammu and Kashmir sports council. First ever traditional senior men free style national wrestling championship 2018 is to be scheduled to be held at Post Somatane Phata, Pune Mumbai old highway from 29th to 30th December.
During screening 06 players (Male) namely Tirth Ram (57 Kg). Sairajudin (65 Kg). Anil Kumar (74 Kg), Bhadur Khan (86 Kg). Vijay Kumar (97 Kg), Diler Khan (125 Kg) were selected.
During the Screening of Wrestlers, Haji Abdul Qayoom Chief Sports Officer J&K Sports Council requested not to entertain any other Association except J&K Wrestling Association for claiming any participation within the J&K State and India.
The Court of Sub-Judge Jammu has passed the directions in civil suit titled J&K Wrestling Association through its General Secretary Ajay Vaid V/S J&K Sports Council to J&K Sports Council in which the Court has directed J&K Sports Council to Conduct screening through J&K Wrestling Association and provide financial aid/help to the J&K Wrestling Association for selected Wrestlers who are elected for participating in 11' Traditional Senior Men Free Style National Wrestling Championship-2018 is scheduled to be held at Pune Maharastra from 29th to 30lh December 2018. |
