poonch, Jan 1: Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch, Ministry of Youth affairs and Sports (Govt. of India) has organized "Two Days Block Level Sports Meet at Govt. High School Salani which is concluded today morning. In this Sports Tournament around 200 youth participated from entire Mankote block. There were total five events of sports Tournament which include volleyball, Short Race, Tag of War, Short Put and kabbadi. In the volley ball game "SALANI- A" won the first prize. However, in the Tug of war "Salani Youth Club" won the first prize. Winner and runner up for Race, Jump, and Shot-put were also awarded.
Co. commander, Parvinder Singh was the Guest of honor for the event. Headmaster, Nazir Hussain was Chief Guest for the event. He distributed the prizes and delivered a speech for youth motivation. At the end of tournament Zia Ur Rehman, Program Coordinator NYK- Poonch presented vote of thanks to all participants. He also highlighted the "Qualities of a Good Leader". The event was organized by Basharat Hussain NYC, NYK Poonch. All participants were awarded and whole event was well managed by NYKS Poonch with the support and supervision of Headmaster Nazir Hussain. |
