| PHE Deptt reluctant to install motor | | |  MS Nazki

Poonch, Jan 1: Water lift scheme Pathanateer to Mohalla Saydial Kateria in sub division Mendhar has gone defunct due to the lackadaisical approach of PHE Department sources said here today.
They said the water lifting scheme has been made deliberately defunct because the concerned officials of PHE department have failed to lift the electric motor of the pumping station from the office where that is lying for over one year in running condition for no reasons.
The said motors supposed to be installed at Pathanateer pumping station and the lifting of water would get through but the motor was not being lifted from the office they added.
One can question the working of concerned officials of PHE department in sub division Mendhar as why they fail to install the motor at required pumping station while all the pipes were laid and reservoir constructed properly for the last quite some time. The locals alleged that PHE officials were least bothered about their problem hence continue to be apathetic to them.
Early Times tried a number of times to contact AEE PHE Sub division Mendhar Munner Ahmed for his comments but his cellphone was continuously on switched off mode.
Meanwhile SDM Mohd Afzal Mirza While talking to this reporter said that he will look into the matter and restore the water lifting scheme with in no time he added. |
