Model Academy accords farewell to Class 12th

JAMMU, Feb 2: Model Academy, bid adieu to the class 12th students decorously in the school premises. Bidding farewell with great pomp and show has been a tradition of the school which students store in their memory forever. Dr. Adit Gupta, Director MIER was the Chief Guest while Rupa Gupta Joint Director MIER was the Guest of Honour. Other dignitaries present were PK Srivastava, Principal JK Dhiman, Vice-Principal, Manager Academics, Conveners and Ruchi Sharma, Quality Assurance Officer. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments. A cultural presentation staged by the students of Class 11th had a mix of scintillating standup comedy, melodious songs and pulsating rap that was enjoyed by one and all. The outgoing students delivered speeches expressing gratitude to their mentors and teachers for their invaluable contribution in making the journey a memorable one. The much-awaited event of the day was the presentation of award of and Miss Modelite. The event was judged by Aarti Khajuria Department of Mathematics and Vikas Katal, Department of I.T. The titles of Modelite and Modelite were bagged by Mast. Arihan Gupta and Akshita Bhardwaj respectively.
The winners in other categories were honored with appreciation certificates and mementos. Dr. Arun Gupta, Chairman MIER and Dr. Renu Gupta Vice- Chairperson in their message, blessed the students and extended their good wishes to them for a bright, successful and prosperous future. Dr. Adit Gupta Director MIER, in his address advised students to be positive and shine in the upcoming board examination. He also gave valuable tips to the students on how to fare the exams with confidence and self-assurance.
Rupa Gupta advised the students to follow the path of honesty, keeping the 3 H's in mind i.e. head, heart and hand well aligned in all aspects of life. P.K. Srivastava, Principal also blessed and enlightened the students with his inspirational words.
