GLS Public School celebrates Annual day

Jammu, Feb 2: G L S Public School, Talab Tillo, celebrated its Annual Day "ATELIER 2019" amidst great passion, vibrancy and exultation at Abhinav Theatre.
The function commenced with the lamp lighting by the honourable Chief Guest Daya Sagar Sharma, who is a renowned thinker and columnist, Guest of Honour Kashmiri Lal Bhat, Advocate and member school management committee and S. Deep Singh, Chairman of the school. The event was also graced by luminaries, a bevy of special invitees and parents.
Lamp lighting ceremony was followed by Gurbani Kirtan and Saraswati Vandana. The stage was lit up with a lively streak of striking performances produced by different segments of the school.
The meritorious students of the last academic session were awarded certificates and medals. Rupinder Kour of Class 10 was awarded "Best Student of the Year" award and the school honoured two outgoing faculty members namely Ruby Gupta and Reena Gourey for their committed and dedicated services for 6 years and 3 years respectively.
In his speech, K L Bhat shared the vision and mission of the school and emphasized on the importance of moral and cultural values & strong character. Vote of thanks was presented by Sunita Bhat.
