Two youngsters found hanging in separate incidents

Jammu, Feb 2: Two youngsters allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves at different places in separate incidents in North Sub Division of Jammu city.
Polices sources said that today a youth identified as Vishal Kumar (21) son of Tilak Raj of House No. 295, Lane no. 5 Shakti Nagar falling under the jurisdiction of Bakshi Nagar police station was found hanging at his residence with ceiling fan and rope. "After family members noticed him hanging they immediately pull off him and shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) where he was declared as brought dead", said police sources adding that later the body was shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for post-mortem and other legal formalities.
Police officials said that inquest proceedings have been initiated in this regard to ascertain exact reasons behind this extreme step.
Meanwhile, yesterday a youth was found hanging with an angle and bed sheet at his residence at Top Paloura falling under the jurisdiction of Janipur police station. Identity of the deceased has been established as Shubham Lamba (21) son of Sunil Kumar Lamba of Top Paloura.
"After legal formalities, the body was handed over to his family members for last rites", said a police official adding that inquest proceedings have been initiated in this regard at Janipur police station to ascertain reasons behind such an extreme step.
