JTC, SKF demand repair of main road in Jagti Township

Jammu, Feb 2: A Joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held here today under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, President, JTC/SKF (J&K) The meeting was attended by the office bearers and members. During the course of meeting different issues related to Migrants putting up at Jagtri Migrant town ship were discussed in detail and the participants have expressed their grave concern over unhygenic conditions prevailing in this township. Pandita while addressing the participants has said that the existing main road in Jagti Township has damaged as it has developed ditches and patches which has hampered the smooth movement of the vehicular traffic besides the residents of this township are confronted to lot of sufferings due to damaged conditions of the existing lanes and bye lanes. Pandita has demanded early repairs of existing main road and lanes bye lanes in this township for ensuring smooth movement of the masses with cleanliness of the existing drains prior to commencing of Shivratri festival. Pandita has further said that the masses of this township are facing lot of difficulties due to acute shortage of transport facilities.
He has demanded plying of Five STRC Buses from Indira Chowk to Jagti and vice versa for ensuring proper transport facilities to the migrants with allowing private buses to ply on this route for carrying passengers from one side to another.
