| Court rejects bail in attempt to murder case | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 28: CJM Jammu Ashwani Sharma today rejected the bail application of Krish Dogra, S/o Ashok Dogra, R/o Rani Mandir, Jammu who was allegedly involved in attempt to murder case.
CJM Jammu Ashwani Sharma after hearing Sr. PO Rohit for the state observed that The accused is involved in case FIR No.07/19 P/S City, Jammu for the commission of offences U/Ss 307/341/147/148/149/382/109 RPC 8B 4/25 A. Act. The accused is in police custody from 07.02.2019. The recovery of the weapons of the offence used in the commission of offence has been affected on the basis of the disclosure statement of the accused person. As per medical report the injury has been sustained by the victim/injured over his right buttock (Gluteal region) and B/L lower legs and is discharged from the hospital on 25.01.2019.
CJM Jammu further observed that It seems that the accused/applicant is a habitual offender and if he will be enlarged on bail there are chances of the accused/applicant herein in indulging in the similar criminal activities in near future and may associate himself with hardcore criminals. Son in order to avoid the accused to refrain himself from indulging in the criminal activities, it is the larger of the state, that bail should be refused to the accused. The accused, as such, does not deserve the latitude of bail in these circumstances. With these observations Court rejected the bail application. |
