Islamabad using civilians as human shields to fire missiles and mortars
Surgical Strike 2
2/28/2019 11:52:32 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 28: The successful Surgical Strike 2 deep inside Pakistan and across LoC on February 26, which left over 300 Jihads, including over 25 top JeM commanders dead, and destroyed JeM terrorist training camp at Balakot and launching pads at Muzaffarabad and Chakoti, has rattled Pakistan. It has made the position of PM Imran Khan untenable. The situation has turned so bad for Imran Khan that Parliamentarians in Pakistan are chanting such slogans as "Imran Khan Murdabad" and "Shame Shame Imran Khan".
Desperate as he is and the Pakistani Army are, they have stooped so low that they used innocent civilians as human shields to avenge the Surgivcal Strike 2. On Wednesday, the Pakistani barbarians injured five Indian soldiers in a ceasefire violation. They fired mortar shells and missiles from across the Line of Control (LoC) at several places in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday and they, according to top military sources, "used civilians to protect themselves against Indian retaliation'.
"The Indian Army retaliated for effect and our focused fire resulted in severe destruction to 05 posts and number of casualties to the Pakistani army. Pakistani troops were also seen firing mortars and missiles from civilian houses, using villagers as human shields. However, the Indian Army targeted the Pakistani posts away from civilian localities," Lt Col Devender Anand was quoted as saying.
It needs to be noted that since 6:30 PM yesterday (26 February), Pakistan used heavy calibre weapons in "12 to 15 places the LoC" and the areas which bored the brunt of the Pakistani attacks included Akhnoor and Pallanwala in Jammu district; Nowshera, Laam and Jhangar in Rajouri district; and Mankote, Mendhar, KG sector, Khari Karmara, Balakote and Poonch in Poonch district.
As a result, the District administrations in the state shut down government and private schools within five km radius of LoC.
