Samba, Mar 25: In order to curtail the activities of Hardcore criminal namely Anwar Choudhary of Bagoon, Nud District Samba, who is involved in number of criminal activities and is a great threat to the life and liberty of the people of State, a special team of Samba police station under the overall supervision of Dr. Koshal Sharma-SSP Samba and under the supervision of Deepak Digra-DySP Hqrs Samba headed by Inspector Shiv Dev Singh-SHO Samba was constituted and the arrest of the said accused person was affected.
The motive of the subject is not only to create terror among the peaceful and law abiding citizens of the town but also to form biggest criminal gang by encouraging criminal minded person to join with the subject. The criminal activities of the subject are posing great threat to the public peace and tranquillity. The subject is a habitual criminal and has established involvement in a number of heinous crimes for which a number of FIRs has been registered in different Police Stations of District Samba, Jammu and Udhampur included FIR No. 201/2015 under sections 354, 323, 147 of RPC of Samba police station, FIR No. 256/2015 under sections 395, 420 RPC of Nagrota police station, FIR No. 100/2017 under sections 323, 336, 427, 147, 148 of RPC of Nagrota police station and FIR No. 75/2017 under sections 458 and 354 of RPC of Chenani police station.
Accordingly, in order to prevent the subject from spreading, expanding, continuing his criminal activities and to prevent him from disturbing public order, District Police Samba compiled all the Police record of said Anwar Choudhary of Bagoon, Nud District Samba, prepared his dossier and got issued his warrant under Public Safety Act issued from Deputy Commissioner, Samba to prevent him from indulging in prejudicial criminal activities and lodged the said detune in Sub-Jail Hiranagar today after execution of warrant under PSA issued against him. With the arrest of said hardcore criminal the people of the area had a sigh of relief.
It is pertinent to mention here that the above said criminal was absconding and was recently arrested by Chenani police. |
