doda, Mar 25: One person killed and another was injured in road accident at Doda. A truck bearing registration number PB11AV-9513 was on its way towards Kishtwar from Jammu met with accident when reached near Ganpat Bridge Doda truck plunged into deep gorge at the sides of river Chenab causing on spot death of one person while another was injured who was shifted to nearby District Hospital Doda for treatment. As per driver statement, he said it was first time when we are travelling towards Kishtwar but unfortunately around 4:30 am morning when reached near Ganpat Bridge chowk and break for moment on roadside to find out the right route of Kishtwar suddenly the road cracks and fell down into deep. The injured identified as Narinder Paul-54 truck driver Doda where as deceased identified as Karan Paul-20 son of driver who was died on spot, a resident of Pathankot, Punjab. |
