Jammu, Apr 21: Sukesh C. Khajuria, a Jammu-based eminent social activist has again written to ECI Sunil Arora to expedite the complaint Dt.15-04-2019 against Mehbooba Mufti former J&K Chief Minister and President of People's Democratic Party (PDP) for violating Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
Sukesh C.Khajuria, a former member of prominent citizens advisory committee constituted by J&K government said he filed the complaint in the interest of free & fair elections & sought legal action under Representation of Peoples Act 1951 & other relevant provisions of Laws of the state including Information Technology Act 2002 & Model Code of Conduct (MCC) against Mehbooba Mufti a candidate for the Anantnag Lok Sabha Constituency which goes to polls in three phases of elections for her seditious tweet Dt. 08 April,2019 at 04:49 P.M. which has been made solely to destabilize India i.e. for separation of J&K from Indian union. Sukesh c.Khajuria in his latest letter written to CECI requested that since that the first phase of polling in Anantnag constituency is schedule to take place on April 23, 2019 & less time is left, I would like to know about fate of my complaint to your goodself. He said, I would appreciate, if timely & legal action is taken on my complaint. Mehbooba Mufti, PDP Chief & former Chief Minister of J&K whose tweets often grab headlines, has tweeted on April 8, 2019 .
