Out playing New Star Mendhar , by 12 run in a closely fought summit clash Jatt Ranger lifted the title of the Mendhar Shaheed Diwas T20 Cricket tournament, organised by the Army at the OP Hill Stadium, Mendhar
The tournament is aimed at reaching out to the youth of Mendhar and to commemorate the martyrdom of the brave citizens of Mendhar Tehsil, who laid down their lives supporting the Army during the 1965 Indo-Pak War.
the participation of youth from areas of Mendhar Tehsil, including Galuthi, Harni, Dharana, Salwah and Sakhi Maidan. The chief guest on the occasion gave away prizes to the winners, runner up teams and the organizing committee. Prominent amongst those present were SDM Mendhar Dr Sahil Jandial local unit Commanding officer col Adita Singh among others.
