Early Times Report

JAMMU, May 7: We are highly thankfulness to all Kashmiri Migrant voters of Jammu, Udhampur and scattered for livelihood all over India who came out to participate with enthusiasm in democratic process , despite of problem being faced by the Migrant voters during the Lok Sabha election 2019 as well as same in previous elections of municipality , panchayats and assembly elections , every time with the cumbersome process of filling of intimation M form and 12- C forms and MPB forms for cast their vote as per the eligible updating voter list at migrant zone offices apart from this being available on line mode submission of these forms for vote.
During the election time the sequences of discrepancies are observed in mass in the migrants voter list of Kashmir valley as well as in migrant polling booths which cannot heals of voters and majority of migrants felt that they have been deliberately deprived of their voting right , it is difficult to count these deficiencies in hectic process of election department . i.e. the member of voter details and submitted M form are totally missing in maximum , no corrections of spelling / mistakes have been made, wards and assembly segments are mismatched , voters have to find their polling booth in haphazard manner etc.
It is pertinent to mention here that few migrants who are interesting to giving their suggestions to boycott any elections is not a solution of migrants right and it can not stop any democratic process but merely encouraging the anti elements who are always against migrant vote bank right goes scattered in ruined never wants /chose migrants representatives, now strong reply is clearly/ categorically shown in the recent election of civic polls of ULB and Panchayat elections however migrants participated resultant elected their representative in large numbers / (corporaters, sarpanchs and panchs) which is a record in the history of J&K and moreover migrants has spoiled 23 years in exiled for democratic right when M form system was deliberately imposed in the 1996 election further on this sensitive issue of voting right, we have to struggle with collectively against abolishing the system of filling of all forms, formalities and procedures of election once for all for the upcoming elections so that migrants may cast their voting right in maximum without any hindrance at their respective places in jammu, udhampur and other places of country,
