5/8/2019 12:16:00 AM
Early Times Report
Rajouri, May 7: The Zonal Education Officer Lower Hathal of Tehsil Sunderbani of District Rajouri has been running attachment industry in violation of norms ostensibly on ulterior motives.
Sources told Early Times that the present ZEO Lower Hathal, who assumed the chair just two months ago has aggressively started making attachments of teachers which is not under his authority.
"Recently two attachments were made from his office which raised eyebrow in the department, he attached Najama Usha, whose original place of posting was at Primary School Tallain, with Government High School Patrara and the second employee Neeraj Kumari Sharma, whose original posting was at Government Middle School Thumba and was attached with Government Primary School Makol," they said further adding he made attachments in the pretext of public interest.
They further said that a Zonal Education Officer can't make an attachment of any teacher as the such powers are only vested with Director School Education on the recommendation of concerned Chief Education Officer but here he openly violated all the rules and made attachments on his own on monetary benefits.
When Early times contacted the Headmaster Thumba and Headmaster Tallain, they admitted that the teachers whose attachments were made from serving here and maintained that ZEO Lower Hathal, telephonically instructed them not to take their attendance. The local public complained that the teachers were attached with such schools where they were not required. They appealed the Government to take action against ZEO Lower Hathal.
