Div Com convenes meeting ahead of Annual Mata Kheer Bhawani yatra

JAMMU, May 7: A meeting was convened by Divisional Commissioner Jammu along with all the concerned civil and police authorities and members of Mata Kheer Bhawani Ji Yatra Welfare Society (MKBJYWS) today in connection with the ensuing Yatra of Mata Kheer Bhwani in Tulmulla Kashmir.
The meeting had threadbare discussion on the arrangements and necessary facilities to be provided on the occasion of the Yatra.
The delegation of the Society was led by Kiran Wattal, convener MKBJYWS while various other representatives of social organizations were also part of the group, who attended the meeting.
BL Bhat (chairman, RAMANAK), Rajesh Gupta (president Tourism Federation), Pintoo ji (president, Global Solace NGO), Kuldip Raina (president KBA Manzgam), Pawan Shastri (president, Jammu Yatri Bhawan Haridwar), MK Jalali (president Sharika Peeth Sagatgan), Kuldip Luthra (United Hindu Front), Aryan Ramesh, MK Yogi, Ajay Bhat and Rohit Bhat were those who participated in the meeting.
Divisional Commissioner gave on spot directions to all the civil and police authorities present in the meeting to take necessary steps for the smooth conduct of forthcoming Yatra.
He also held video conference with the Deputy Commissioner Ramban to make necessary arrangements viz accommodation and keep all the contingencies in view in case of any road blockage. He has also been directed to make all necessary arrangements of drinking water and temporary washroom facilities and identification of land for parking and refreshment/ prashad for yatris to be served at Ramban.
Divisional Commissioner also directed tourism department for wide publicity of the Yatra through print and electronic media and installation of hoardings at main and important place from Jammu to valley.
Relief Commissioner has also been directed to visit Kashmir valley and hold threadbare meeting with civil and police authorities to ensure smooth conduct of the Yatra and also coordinate with Mata Kheer Bhawani Ji Yatra Welfare Society.
