Early Times Report

JAMMU, May 16: Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has expressed grave concern over the situation in Bhaderwah area of district Doda following the killing of one person namely Nayeem Ahmed and asked the government to identify the culprits and book them under law of the land for award of stern punishment.
In a statement issued today, president PCC G A Mir and other senior leaders of the party strongly condemned the incident and termed it as most unfortunate as nobody has the right to take law in to his hands what so ever may be the provocation. They said that those who are found guilty must be booked for severe punishment under the law of land. The investigating agency should investigate the incident in a most fair and professional manner so that justice is done.
Congress leaders appealed to the people especially the senior citizens of both the communities to play their role for maintaining communal harmony in the area. They also appealed to the government not to allow anyone to take advantage of the situation and to disturb peace and religious brotherhood in the area.
