| 2 notorious drug peddlers arrested by Police, heroin seized | | |
Kathua, May 17: Acting sternly against drug menace, Inspector Arvind Sambyal SHO Police Station Kathua and his team seized 9.35 grams of heroin and arrested two notorious drug peddlers.
Team of Police Station Kathua in the intervening night during patrolling and checking duty at NHW near Sahar Khad apprehended two notorious drug peddlers namely Sumit Kumar son of Rakesh Kumar resident of Tandyari chann Rorian Teh. Marheen and Daljeet Singh son of Trilochan Singh resident of Logate Morh Kathua and seized 9.35 grams of heroin in their illegal possession.
Police registered a case FIR no 157/19 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act against both the accused. Further investigation is going on.
They requested people of the area to come forward and share any information on 100 about drug peddling or consumption and cooperate with Police for the cause to save society.
